Give my heart

Sorry, no pictures of my Christmas tree today. I have been unbelievably tired today. But, as a small preview, I will share with you the poem which inspired the theme of my scrappy tree.
The poem by Rossetti was set to music and became the famous Christmas carol, "In the Bleak Midwinter." It is one of my favorite Christmas songs.

What can I give him,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wise man
I would do my part,
Yet what I can I give Him —
Give my heart.

    hang in there, amos. xo

  2. That has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs. And I'm excited to see your tree!
